Here is information regarding local health fairs that our families are invited to take advantage of. Watching for different events our families can take part in is one of the many great things Mrs. Hayes, our corporation registered nurse, does for our school community. We appreciate all of her efforts!

Carroll family, This season, during home, varsity football games we have experienced an increase in the number of student involved incidents at the north end of the football field. To keep everyone safe staff will no longer be allowing students to loiter and play north of the track. Elementary students will need to be supervised by guardians. Junior high and high school students will be encouraged to sit in the student section to enjoy the game. If students are found unsupervised, they will asked to have a seat with their guardians. Thank you for helping keep our football games safe and prevent further incidents.

CES invites all parents, community members, and parties interested in our Title I program to our Annual Title I Parent meeting. During the meeting CES administrators will share about what it means to be a school-wide Title I building, the curriculum and assessments we use with kids, and review ways you can be involved in your child's education. Immediately following we will have the Annual Homeschool/Non-Public Consultation Meeting with the CCSC Special Education Department . We have two opportunities to attend (both meetings have identical content covered) on October 25th at 5pm or October 27th at 10am. Cougar of the Month Our September winner is Mrs. Skinner, nominated by Ruby Powlen. Ruby says, “I would like to nominate Mrs. Skinner because she always helps me out when I’m late for school and I don’t feel good. She also helps me a lot with my anxiety. When I see her in the hallways she is always so joyful and always makes people smile when they might be having a bad day. Mrs. Skinner is always a happy Carroll Cougar to be by.” Mrs. Skinner will receive flowers from Flowers and Friends and her and Ruby will receive gift cards from the Lion’s Club.
