Students have been learning about the Earth and rocks and minerals. Today they learned about renewable and nonrenewable resources through cookie mining. The students had to use mining money to purchase land(chocolate chip cookies) and tools (paper clips and tooth picks). They used those resources to mine for chips. Then they reclaimed the land. Some students’ mines were very successful while others were not profitable. Fun day of learning!
