Hello, this is Keith Thackery, superintendent of Carroll Consolidated Schools. Today is Tuesday, August 11th and We have had some strong storms pass through the area early this afternoon. Our electricity flickered at our schools once but has remained online. I am happy to report that school has been able to continue on a normal schedule and that we will release students on the normal dismissal schedule. That being said, please be aware that I have been getting reports that Flora may have power and cell service outages. I have also heard that there may be power lines and branches down in various parts of our district. I am sharing this information in case you need to make plans beyond what you normally do after school. School practices and activities are still scheduled unless you hear differently from your coaches or athletic department. Thank you and have a great day.
Welcome Back Students! 1st Day of School is Wednesday, August 5th at 8:00 AM. We look forward to seeing you!
