Last Spring, we announced that Mr. Shuler was selected as our District IV Principal of the Year. He will officially be recognized by the Indiana Association of School Principals this coming weekend in Indianapolis.
In earning this honor, many letters of support were written on Mr. Shuler’s behalf from the families in this very community that he serves.
Some people commented on Mr. Shuler’s commitment to education and the effort he puts into making Carroll schools a fun and inviting place to learn. Some commented on Mr. Shuler’s love of baseball and his dedication to working with children on the field while also taking on leadership roles within the community. His time serving on local boards has helped to improve our local parks giving our kids a great place to grow and develop both physically and socially. And, believe it or not, some people even commented on Mr. Shuler’s amazing footwork and dance skills as witnessed in his past participation in the Carroll Dancing with the Stars competition.
We could go on for a long time with the praise written about Mr. Shuler, but the underlying themes that were expressed by so many are Mr. Shuler’s dedication, loyalty, and willingness to go the extra mile for our students, staff, and families. We are very blessed to have Mr. Shuler as our principal.
We celebrated today with Flour Mill Donuts & Milk, Walk of Champion/Celebration, Student Dress Up as Mr. Shuler contest and FRN provided Homemade Cookies to the Students and Staff! Congratulations to Malachi Gray, Gage Davis, Jaisee Fisher, Carter Bean, Lily Rush, and Yara Rodriguez all chosen as winners.
Thank you, Mr. Shuler, for all that you do!
