"The Blessing Closet" was started by recently retired CES Teacher Diana Brown as a resource for Carroll Elementary School students in Grades PreK-6. The mission is to provide high-quality clothing, coats, and shoes to students who may not otherwise have these items. All items are free to families in need.
Available items include new and nearly new clothes, coats, gloves, hats, hoodies, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, jeans, sweats and some shoes.
Families with CES students may text Diana Brown at 765-412-7993 to set up an appointment to shop at The Blessing Closet.

A few minor tech issues won't stop us from celebrating these 6th grade Cougars of the Day, even if it's a few days late!
Mrs. Conn nominated Khloe for thinking of others and showing kindness. Mrs. Falkenberg nominated Kellen for always being kind, respectful, and hardworking. These are traits that embody the ideal CES student!

One of our recent Cougars of the Day was Rylan. First grade teacher Mrs. McIlrath shared that Rylan has a great attitude and makes great choices! We are proud of you, Rylan!

Our SLP Mrs. Sanders praised first grade student Evelyn for always giving 100% with a smile on her face. Thank you, Evelyn, for brightening our days at CES!

Before the Thanksgiving break, the Carroll Elementary community was extremely thankful for Kindergarten student Colton, who was nominated by Mrs. Blocher for listening, working hard, following directions, and being kind. This is our favorite kind of Cougar! Congratulations, Colton!

For December 3, our Cougar of the Day was Maverick. His Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Williams said he is the first one to offer help when someone is in need. Maverick, we love your generous spirit!

Sixth grade teacher Ms. Vick wanted our community to know how impressed she was with Brayan. The fact that he "was willing to help when no one else would" speaks volumes about his character. Brayan, thank you for what you bring to CES!

These students continue to amaze us... Mrs. Collier nominated 4th grader Merilee for being thoughtful, respectful, hardworking, and always doing things with a smile. Thanks for making us happy, Merilee!

Miss Stout and her student teacher Miss Powlen submitted Lynnon's name for today's Cougar of the Day. Being kind and respectful are two of Lynnon's strengths. Oh how we love CES students who exhibit these characteristics! Lynnon, keep shining!

Friday's honored Cougar was 2nd grade student Olivia. Not only is she a hard worker, but she sets a good example for her classmates. Olivia, we love having you at CES!

Thursday's Cougar of the Day was 5th grade student Maelee. Mrs. Jenkinson praised her for following directions and being willing to help everyone! Way to go, Maelee!

We have started our week with two fantastic Cougars of the Day! Yesterday, we celebrated 6th grader Serenity for being organized, friendly, and always participating in class. Today, we honored Cole, a 1st grade student, for being a great role model to his peers. Carroll Elementary School is so fortunate to have such superstar students and citizens! Serenity and Cole, we are proud of you!

Mrs. O'Brien wanted the whole school to know how amazing Brantley is! He has been working so hard and giving his best effort in class. Brantley, we are proud of you!

Kindergarten student Elaine was today's Cougar of the Day! Among other things, she is ALWAYS kind, which makes her a wonderful Carroll Cougar. Keep it up, Elaine!

Today's Cougar of the Day is June! According to her teacher, she is a great listener and direction-follower, but more importantly, is always kind and helpful to all her classmates. June is the kind of student who makes us all proud! Congratulations, June!

Congratulations for our first Cougar of the Day for the 2024-2025 school year. We are thrilled to recognize Jamari for working hard when things get tough! Keep it up, Jamari!
