Today's Cougar of the Day is the amazing Elaina! Elaina was nominated by Mrs. Brenneman because she consistently has a positive attitude and works wonderfully with her peers. Well done Elaina, keep being amazing!

One last volleyball note... as good as the 6th grade team was in earning the right to defend their title against the CES staff, who do lose this match more than we like to admit, this year it was not meant to be as the staff pulled off the win!


Mrs Meek's 5th grade class had a championship worthy showing Wednesday, beating Mrs Weavers class to become 2023 5th grade volleyball tournament champs!



In the biggest volleyball match of the tournament, it was Mrs Vick's class bringing home the victory over Mrs Brenneman's class! The 6th grade title is always coveted a coveted title, and the best volleyball of the season is played! Congratulation to both teams!



Twas the day before Christmas and tradition was strong. These fourth grade teams fought hard and long. Congratulations Mrs. Falkenberg's class for winning it all, and to Mrs. Burrous' class for also standing tall!

The economy is strong in Third Grade. Students had a mini-mall today where they had to create a booth and sell their goods. It is fun to see lots of homemade wares and goodies!









Please be sure to have your child check the lost and found for missing items. Anything unclaimed by the end of school tomorrow will be packed up to be donated to a local organization. Thanks!




5th graders created a Winter Wonderland today! Students were tasked with creating an exhibit from recycled material and figure the volume of their creations! What a great way to have fun and practice math!








Today we celebrate Paris as our Cougar of the Day! Paris is a hard worker and shows grit in Mrs. Spitznagle's classroom. Great work Paris, keep it up!!


Today we celebrate Jace as our Cougar of the Day!!! Miss Wickersham sees Jace go above and beyond daily expectations, and for that we recognize his awesomeness! Great job Jace!


For 16 weeks CHS senior Spanish students have worked with Mrs. O'Brien's 3rd Grade students. Today they showed off the skills that they have learned. Thank you to Profe Steeb and the Senior Spanish class!
