Hello Carroll Families,
I would like to introduce the new Indiana SUN Bucks program. It is a new and permanent benefit program funded by the USDA and the state of Indiana. It will provide $120 per eligible school-aged child to help buy groceries during the summer months. Students who are eligible for free & reduced meal benefits as of May 1st will automatically be enrolled in the SUN Bucks program. (In fact, if your child currently qualifies for free or reduced rates, you do not need to apply as you will automatically be enrolled in SUN Bucks.) If your address has changed this year please update your address in PowerSchool to ensure your benefit card is sent to the correct address if your child(ren) qualifies. Who qualifies for SUN Bucks?
Students who are currently receiving free or reduced meal benefits.

Answers to FAQs:
Families who are eligible will receive one card per qualifying child.
Cards will be pre-loaded with $120.00 Deadline to apply is August 16th.
SUN Bucks is only available to school aged children.
Benefits will expire 122 days after issuance.
Those who are automatically eligible should expect their benefit card in the mail in early June.
